I’ve been playing with Siri, and that digi-gal is a freaky good listener. Yes, she does get some things wrong, and I still wouldn’t want to trust her with life support systems. Nevertheless, this really is by far the most effective natural-language voice recognition system I’ve ever used. Tea-earl-gray-hot, baby. I’m addicted already.

Update from 2014: I have, indeed, never tapped to set a timer again.
