Westworld

Finally got to Westworld recently, finished last weekend, and wowee: what a fascinating show. Maybe a little bit too-clever-by-half? But they sure stuck the landing, and I really respect and appreciate that — there are so few good endings in science fiction. (Dear SF: No more aliens with a single critical vulnerability, please? Kthxbye!)

The whole bicameral mind thing is the deep end of the pool for sure. Reckon that’s by far the most thoughtful treatment of artificial intelligence we’ve ever gotten out of film or television.
